জনাব মোঃ সাহাবুদ্দিন ১৯৪৯ সালের ১০ ডিসেম্বর পাবনা শহরের শিবরামপুরস্থ জুবিলি ট্যাঙ্ক পাড়ায় জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তাঁর বাবার নাম শরফুদ্দিন আনসারী, মাতার নাম খায়রুন্নেসা। জনাব মোঃ সাহাবুদ্দিন রাধানগর মজুমদার অ্যাকাডেমি থেকে ১৯৬৬ সালে এসএসসি, পাবনা এডওয়ার্ড কলেজ থেকে ১৯৬৮ সালে এইচএসসি এবং ১৯৭১ সালে (অনুষ্ঠিত ১৯৭২ সালে) বিএসসি ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন। পরবর্তীতে রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে ১৯৭৪ সালে তিনি মনোবিজ্ঞানে স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি লাভ করেন। ১৯৭৫ সালে তিনি পাবনা শহীদ আমিনুদ্দিন আইন কলেজ থেকে এলএলবি ডিগ্রি লাভ করেন এবং ১০৩ জন পরীক্ষার্থীর মধ্যে একমাত্র তিনিই উচ্চতর দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণীতে উত্তীর্ণ হন।
Professor Dr. Mohammad Badruzzaman Bhuiyan completed his PhD in Tourism and Hospitality Management and did his post-doctoral research in the same field. Before joining as the Treasurer in the University of Barishal, Professor Dr. Mohammad Badruzzaman Bhuiyan served as a Professor in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management under the Faculty of Business Studies in the University of Dhaka. During the journey as a distinguished academician, Professor Bhuiyan also served in different administrative positions with the following affiliations:
1. Provost, Shahid Serjeant Zahurul Huq Hall, University of Dhaka.
2. Chairman, Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Dhaka.
3. Director, EMBA, University of Dhaka.
4. Assistant Proctor, University of Dhaka.
Apart from the above affiliations in the University of Dhaka, Professor Bhuiyan was also one of the Governing Board member of the Bangladesh Tourism Board. He is one of the Governing Body member of Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) and East-west medical college.
Professor Dr. Mohammad Badruzzaman Bhuiyan was born in Austagram, Kishoreganj, Bangladesh.
